Use CAD to SU to select objects in AutoCAD, press Ctrl+C, then click one SketchUp toolbar button to bring the CAD geometry into your model. Repeated imports stay aligned, the project is moved near the SketchUp origin, and each import is organized as a separate group.

Workflow
Choose the required objects and press Ctrl+C in AutoCAD.
Return to SketchUp and click the CAD to SU toolbar button.
Repeat for other CAD regions while the plugin keeps every transfer aligned.
