Core capabilities
From SketchUp models to editable LayOut drawing sets
LU LayOut Exporter turns selected Groups or Components into technical drawing sets that remain editable in LayOut and can be exported to PDF. SketchUp Pro with LayOut is required. SketchUp 2025 build 25.0.571 may encounter errors when LayOut creates entities.

Native LayOut viewports
Views are created as LayOut viewports linked to the SketchUp model and remain editable.

Automatic scale and layout
Choose a suitable scale, center views in their cells, align rows, and reduce perspective cropping.

Automatic dimensions
Create native LayOut dimensions for most cases; special construction may still require manual adjustment.

Batch export
Process multiple Groups or Components in one run and organize the drawing set with the selected preset.

LayOut file and PDF
Create an editable LayOut file and PDF; keep the <model>_Data folder so native viewports remain linked to the SketchUp source.

Create the LayOut file and PDF, keep the accompanying <model>_Data folder, then adjust special cases if needed.

Do I need to enter a license key?
No. The license is linked to the Google account used for purchase, and LU Center verifies it automatically during installation.
What happens when I change computers?
You can reset a device from your LU Studio account, then sign in to LU Center on the new computer and install again.
